Natan,

I will try to make a 5250 .js file soon so that we can see how small it will
be.

when we know all the classes needed we can build a special 5250
version - and THAT .js will be very small. I don?t know the size yet
but it will be small!

It's nice to hear that Niels has some help on this. I seem to recall him
mentioning that he could rely on someone who could weld under water with
JavaScript ;-)

The ExtJS window offers a professional-grade container, but that's more than
I'd need. I'd be interested in hosting 5250 sessions in <iframe> elements.
If users were to toggle between one <iframe> and another in a portal, it
would be helpful if field focus were retained where they left off.

The Web emulator is a critical part. If it lacks features, then users tend
to switch back to Client Access. Don't allow tab keys to jump to the
browser's address bar, for example. That's not to say it needs all the
features in the Client Access emulator.

Nathan.
