Hi Jon,
for me it would be nice if anybody provides me an way to generates images
using java, the boss opposition in the case of java is really don't wanting
to install WAS and so on,
then if you know some callable funtion in java this would be nice,
sorry I was not explicit in the case of Java, about java the intention is
not developing it from scratch if possible, in other case I would prefer an
more easy "solution" I can afford in RPG.

Thanks.
Guillermo.

please believe me that we're developing really pretty "modern

The thing that confuses me is that if you are doing web programming on
the "i" in RPG then since there is no native support for CGI, you are
already using C APIs from your RPG code.

Given that, what is the difference between calling those C APIs and
calling a Java API? PHP requires that you install an extra "thing"
but Java is already there. So what's the problem with that. It will
still look like RPG in your program!
