Probably a giant heart attack for anyone who uses it! You can't say never about anything (look at the enhancements CL has gotten recently after years of nothing) but it has been 7 or 8 years since there have been any improvements at all. I would say that the chance of any more (beyond what is needed to move it to new OS releases) is pretty slim. At this point, I don't know why anyone would want to start new development in Net.Data.
