These issues seem confusing as I am curious why we NEED strongly
typed and compiled languages to be ENTERPRISE?

Strongly typed is not synonymous w/compiled. While they do tend to
travel in pairs you could have an interpreted strongly typed language,
or a compiled loosely typed language.

As for the need for a language to be compiled and strongly typed to be
enterprise, I'd disagree with that. There are many things that dynamic
languages bring to the table that are not only acceptable in enterprise,
but often beneficial. The most obvious example of this would be the
ability to inject code at runtime, often to solve a complex problem with
a large number of variables.

Compiled languages will beat the pants off interpreted languages hands
down when it comes to performance. Whether you need that performance
depends on what you're doing. Building a web page? Well, interpreted may
work well indeed. Compiled may be faster, but you may never see the
difference. Doing vector math, well... :)
