Any chance you have some literature supporting that? A link perhaps. Is it Power 6, or i 6.1 in this context?

Either way, it would be a killer if the benefits of partitioning are FAR outweighed by the additional costs.

Thinking aobut it, I can't see how that would work. This surely can't be true.
