I don't believe I understand how the source and potential compiling works.

As I understand it you will have a public read-only anonymous SVN repository
for IceBreakOpenSource (not sure if you have coined a name yet) that ANYONE
can download from and compile if they enjoy an adventure (because of the
compile complexity), though if it is automated, where is the complexity?
And also as I understand it, "customers" don't have to pay a dime to see the
code? Or do they need a support contract before they can see the code? Or
do they get the "make" script once they have a support contract? Or do they
have to pay before they see ANY source? If so I would be curious to know
what the silver contract costs.

Also, I would like to get the 10,000 foot veiw of IceBreak before I start
pointing MY customers towards this so I know what I am getting them into.
Where is the best place to look for that? Everytime Jim Cooper recommends
IceBreak to me I try to read up on it, but it seems there a sub-sites
everywhere (i.e. resellers?) that all have varying levels of documentation.
A semi-complex application built with IceBreak would be a good way to show
what it can do and spark more interest. Does such an application exist?

Hi Ralph;

Thanks for your input.

I was almost saying the same as you Ralph - earlier this morning to the
board of director's meeting.

But I was voted down on that one.

The rationale was (something like):
"If people want to use IceBreak for free and have access to the source, at
least they have to be our ambassadors and become our business partners.
Then
they can have it all for free. The door swings both ways".

... But can you find a way around that?

Best regards
