This may be the most concise representation of the benefits of EGL I've seen to date. The ability to see fields in your RPG program while editing your Dreamweaver page - that's what EGL provides. And in fact, it's bidirectional - while you're editing the page, you can add a field that would then be automatically available in the RPG program.

In fact, it's very much like adding a field to a display file using SDA - it's automatically available in your RPG program. It's even easier in EGL.
