If a developer won't learn HTML and Javascript, it's unlikely that
they'll learn a 4th generation language, plus HTML and JavaScript.

Nathan.

Agreed again, Nathan.

And whats nice about Dreamweaver is that it doesn't insert HTML into already
generated code. That's one thing I hated about most other tools.

Why? I do a LOT of SSI. Most pages I do are probably 3 pieces of SSI
(static and dynamic) and then the main part of the page is generated by a
single program (great divide and conquering there... works so slick!)

When I have just a small little section of code I don't want it thinking
"hey, you forgot your html, head and body tags, I'll put those in for you".

And now doing AJAX, again it's nice that it doesn't mess with your HTML.

I actually use TextPad for 95% of my HTML, JavaScript and CSS editing. The
only real time I open Dreamweaver is, well.. I can't remember the case.
lol... But I know I have used it!
