Gang,

I just had a colleague tell me that IBM's Database Add-ins for Visual
Studio provides increased performance, especially via ODBC. From what
I read about it from IBM, it appears to only offer the .NET provider and
some tools for creating DDL.

Even if the .NET provider provides better performance access, it still
seems like you could cancel that if you send dynamic SQL via that
provider or otherwise invoke dynamic SQL.

Appreciate someone knowledgeable letting me know the ins-and-outs of
the Add-ins for Visual Studio.

Thanks in advance,

Dave Odom
