Re: How are you modernising your as400 applications?

One of our Java developers has taken the time to build a very nice
toolbox of classes to take a great deal of complexity out of doing
things like running an SQL query and displaying the results or calling
an RPG program, so this is making it very easy for novice Java
developers (RPG developers just getting into Java) to come up with
some decent apps very quickly.

Then we can turn those over to developers with better web development
skills for beautification if necessary.  It's been a little work in
getting here and we're constantly enhancing the toolbox, but it really
is working well for us.
