Thanks David.

My domain is currently registered with Domain Direct and I am using "Domain Forwarding" to direct my domain to the static IP address provided by my ISP. I am kinda confused 'cos I kinda thought that this was the DNS.

Should I be perhaps be using a "Name Server" instead?

Or should I simply have a DNS entry on my iSeries?

I hate this stuff :-)

But this is an internet issue - not a network one. How do I go about having a registered domain assigned to an IP address?

You need to do this with your DNS provider. Often this is the same as your domain registrar, but sometimes they do not provide this service.

I use GoDaddy, which provides a rather robust DNS service as part of the domain registration service.
