Look in QSYSOPR or the joblog of the HTTP server jobs and see if a low-level
CPF message is being recorded that might point you in the right direction.
Typically this can be caused by a CGI program error, such as a divide by
zero, substring offset problem or something similar.

Subject: [WEB400] CGIDEV2 help needed

I have a program that seems to react differently than others for some reason
that I
cannot discern.

I am using CGIDEV2. This is a fairly simple program that reads a cookie,
processes
some data, and displays a table of results.

What I get from the browser (both firefox and IE) is the dreaded '500
Internal Server
Error'

I turned on the debug mode for CGIDEV2 and stuck a few calls to wrtdebug in
the
program.

It appears that the debug file shows everything working the same as the
other pages I
am already using... E.g., it shows that the WrtSection calls are running and
the
various wrtdebug notes are being output and I seem to see a normal page
created as
far as the notes in the debug file are concerned.

The cookie is being read okay, with correct data. The program builds the
page as it
is supposed to be displayed. The last thing in the debug file is a note on
xxx bytes
sent to the browser.

Any suggestions as to what to try next?
