Bummer.

The software company in question was sorta forced to use Webfacing to bring
their GUI version to market, even after they had used Newlook to put on a
GUI face. Newlook has the ability to map keys any way the users want.

I see lots of this company's clients being cranky if they are converting
from a green screen environment. Of course, if a user has been using a tab
key to move from field to field, they won't know the difference.

Nope. The '+' key on the right side of the keyboard maps to a browser as
THE EXACT SAME KEY as the '+' above the equals sign. Through an
unimaginable lack of foresight, browsers do not present scan codes, only
ASCII key values.

Thus, the only way you can manage this is if you're willing to handle
the '+' key the same way for either keystroke. In some client
implementations I do indeed trap the '+' key and through JavaScript make
it act like a poor man's field exit (actually more like Enter).
