Kevin,
Why don't you use the FTPSNDFILE command that I wrote instead?

Subject: [WEB400] openSSH for iSeries example

Hi Everyone,

I have a company who needs to automate sending a file with openSSH for
iSeries. Preferably using sftp. Does anyone have an example of doing
this? I don't have any Unix experience and I guess I may not be smart
enough to figure out from www.openSSH.org/manual.html . I'd like to
automate the process in a cl or rpg program. I have the appropriate
product code installed on our iSeries.

Thank you,
