I didn't know that, i didn't try yet. My pbA proxy is before an
un-SSLed pbA instance and it's not bad to let the proxy do the SSL
work.

Is it definitely so that multiple virtual hosts can't use separate
certs?

I wanted to go that way some day... :-(
