I too am having a new breed of problems.
However, with V5R2 and the latest PTF's applied after the WAS ASE 5 install,
snoop worked the first time with me.
It takes a while for any config changes on our box using the web admin
inteface as QSECOFR.
I get the hourglass indication that it is busy.
In QSH I get very little feedback on the IBM provided scripts.
The QSH commands and their error logs (for install access for the web) is
what is driving me nuts.
I am getting errors on things I did not know existed (JACL) and could care
less about.
The so called "install wizards" at this stage of the game is hapless.
