That will teach me to go off of what books (SAMS, Dreamweaver) say before
searching the internet. Everything that I have read in books and the
developers that I have talked to take the long way around for debugging.
They write stuff to standard out over and over again until they find the
logical error! Ouch.

Thanks for the correction Hans.

Does anybody else develop PHP here? What do you use for your IDE/Editor?

Well, I've never done any PHP programming, but I know how to use
Google. A Google search on "PHP debugging" yielded about 638,000
hits. Were none of those pages useful?

Cheers! Hans
