Oh, I was well aware of that special case when I commented earlier that there was no good use of binary decimal numeric! ;-)


You mean there really are databases out there that use binary decimal numeric with non-zero decimal places?

BTW, note that you can't define binary numeric fields in DDS with more than 0 decimal places once you go past 9 digits. If you try, you get a message that says: "Decimal positions too large for data type."
