Another point is that because hobbyists and self-taught students can afford 
these products you get quite a few contributions from non-professionals (not to 
say that they don't have the potential nor the knowledge) whereas the RPG 
forums are usually populated by programmers who are already in the business.  
This doesn't reflect on the quality of the posts, merely the quantity.
