You could retrieve the job name/number and the current time. If you need a
session id to push to web pages (or is visible in URLs, etc), you could then
apply the MD5 hash to it. Here is a link to an MD5 subprocedure you can call

I use this all the time to generate session keys and unique filenames for
web applications and temporary files.
