I get a similar problem whit v5r2, a macro that works in the old server
gives me the same problem. I have noticed that the first page in the
macro always comes out Ok, and the second gives the error.

I'm in the process of trying to certify some CGI programs, that currently
run on the old IBM HTTP server, to run on Apache.

The programs seem to run OK ... except every other request that is sent I
get a error 500 "Internal Server Error -- Cannot read script output
pipe.".

If I refresh, or go back a screen, and resubmit the request the program
works fine.

Even if I just leave the same URL in the browser, and click refresh
twice,
once I'll get the correct result, the next I'll get the 500 error.

The programs work fine in the original HTTP server.

Any suggestions on where to start looking?

Thanks!

david
