Heh.....well I just got a message from the Lawson support person I am
working with saying they won't support my "issue" on 7.2.2.2

Only on 7.2.2.5 (which apparently give us the web release level of
7.3.2.1)
Or somehow we get 7.3.2.1 as a download...I have to figure that part out
still.

I got http to work over the internet.....just not https.

Message below (I took the person's name out)
=================================================

Jim,

In my testing I have experienced problems using Network Enterprise
Desktop
7.2.2.2 and SSL connections.

The current and supported release is 7.3.2.1 and this is available on
your
7.2.2.5 environment. Please test on this current release of our
software.

Thank you,

We use Information Office also. I have tried to get SSL working, but
haven't
got it to work. I am watching you patently to see what pans out.

This is a multi-part message in MIME format.

We are having an issue with their web application (NED) using an SSL
key.

It gives us a java.nullpointer.exception error and just "stops
responding".

Firewall people see no problems.
Network people see no problems.

Using http works fine.

In the error log for the http instance we see a SSL Handshake failed. RC
-11 ERRNO 0
But this is only after drilling down a few levels from the information
office "home screen"

Going into QSYSINC/H(SSL) -11 means "Bad Message".

I have a call open w/ Lawson & IBM regarding this....but was wondering
if there
Are any other Lawson users on this list who have their information
office application working correctly.
And more importantly with the NED application (we don't use HR or
Warehouse or the other products)

Mostly just GL/AR/AP.

Thanks
