If you're using varying, you don't need the %trim. Just %len(field) will
suffice.

Subject: [WEB400] Using Varying

Hello all,

I'm not going to argue the value of Varying in RPG CGI programs. Varying is
much faster. However, I just can't seem to make it work. Currently I'm using
trim the using %len(%trim(field)). Am I missing something as far as varying.
When I use it, I get scrambled stuff. Missing data yada yada yada.

If you need a code snippet, I'd be glad to provide one.

Thanks,

Mark
