Is your page running CGI on the 400?
A combination of cpysplfpdf to an IFS directory and
a following of ESPLF to the users account an attachment would work.

We do that here, check the archives (search all - this was some time ago,
before
the web400 was set in place for cpysplfpdf and esplf) Works well here for us
to
create PDF documents from SCS spool files and then e-mail them out...

I do not remember where we got the free cpysplfpdf from, but the archives
will show it,
but the link for the esplf is http://bytware.com/freestuff.htm This does a
spool file,
but we "took" the C/L and broke it down, you can just do a snddst from your
folder of
the copied pdf document. Also there is one "bug", near the bottom on the
crtpf
change the rcdlen from 132 to 300 (this allows you to send files wider than
132 - we had
some 198 reports that were truncated...

Subject: e-mail FROM server to you......

Here is my proposed scenario:

On demand from a web page I would like provide the user the ability to
generate a PDF file that would be e-mail to them rather than providing them
a
link to the location of the PDF.

Does anyone have any suggestions on the e-mail portion of the task?
examples,
prior discussions, etc.....

Thanks,

Andrew
