If the printer is a direct network attach, perhaps it has an LPD daemon 
running inside, such as does my HP 4050 TN.

Create an output queue that points to the IP of the printer, set host print 
transmform to *YES, set the proper manufacturer type and model.

Then STRRMTWTR.

Drop a spooled file into the queue and see what happens.

This works fine for many IP accessible printers, but it is likely that the 
remote site has a firewall and you won't be able to see the printer at 
all.  Otherwise, the whole internet could abuse the printer.
