You are correct Anton, I am not happy with this and am still looking for a
"correct" solution.  That said, any 'bug' which works this way in as many
browsers as have been reported here probably qualifies as a feature <g>

Since this is only a demo program - I'm going to leave it as-is for now.
It is only a proof of concept and to have to introduce code to insert &nbsp
all over the place so that I don't have to use <PRE> would just clutter up
the program right now.

The samples that result from my efforts, which involve the use of SPECIAL
files to provide a really fast print-to-web conversion process for small
reports will be available via our web site shortly - but if anyone wants a
look-see now just send a private e-mail to jon.paris@halna.com.
