Courtesy of Dave (host of this site) there is another mail-group similar to
this one,
but pertaining to web on the 400.

e-mail address is   ::  web400@midrange.com

I am new to the web side of the 400, and enjoy what i see.
You have the advantage of using the robust and reliable 400,
built in relational database,
and the coding is real easy for a RPG coder to slide into <from the
application side>.
Other languages are possible, but i am talking of the point of a RPG techie...

I was almost comfortable with the HTTP server on the 400,
when IBM introduced the Apache web server.

So, let me defer to people who are more experienced in this line to reply
to your original questions.

good luck on web400@midrange.com
