To get RDI started again find your current workspace in the Windows Explorer and rename it.
Then start RDI and see if that allows you to startup using a brand new workspace.

There is a chance you moved too many items around and corrupted your workbench.xmi file.
\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.e4.workbench\workbench.xmi

The themes that get loaded are most likely inside your workspace metadata folder.

If you have issues with missing "views" then the easiest way to fix it is to Close the Perspective and Open it back up again.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] RDI Launch issue

So ran into an issue with RDI.
It was working since I installed it and then somehow I lost the outline view, not sure what happened.
I have done some looking around and tried various things like CTRL/SHIFT/F5 to show the view but all it does is quickly open the view and closes it again.
When it opens for the brief moment there is nothing displayed in it eventhough I am in a source file.
Last week I opened a new RDI IDE window and there was the outline view, great I thought, so I closed the original window, bad move.
Once I closed the second window and tried to open it again from the short cut it failed by not opening at all.
I haven't been able to open RDI since then.
Today I uninstalled it via IBM installation manager and proceeded to reinstall and apply licence, no luck.
In the splash screen it flashes through a bunch of steps and when it hits 'org.eclipse.e4.ui.css.swt.theme'  it quits.
I looked into this folder c:\Program File\IBM\SDP\configuration \org.eclipse.e4.ui.css.swt.theme and it was empty.
Not sure where I go now.
