Ok, I'll try, but what should I answer when the upgrade proces will ask for
DISK1? I have no disk's.

TIA

If you wish to use the remote repository location then you need to program
it into the IM config as a repository in the IM preferences. I don't know
that providing a remote repository URL as a local disk location would be
handled correctly by IM.

Thanks Mike, inline.

How are you trying to do the update, from a local or remote repository?

I guess remote since I didn't download the upgrade package and neither set
up a local repository, Whee the upgrade proces stops and asks for DISK1 I
provided this url:
https://www.ibm.com/software/repositorymanager/com.ibm.
rational.developer.ibmi.v95

What version are you trying to update from and to?

IM says:

IBM® Rational® Developer for i 9.5.0.3 (versione interna
9.5.3.20160414_1208)
IBM® Java™ SDK 8.0 SR3 8.0.3.0 (versione interna 8.0.3000.20160509_1040)
Security Fixes for Apache Commons Collections 1.0.0 (versione interna
1.0.0.20151203_0024)

IBM® Rational® Business Developer 9.5 (versione interna
9.5.0.RBDO95-I20150902_0039)
IBM® Java™ SDK 8.0 SR3 8.0.3.0 (versione interna 8.0.3000.20160509_1040)
Security Fixes for Apache Commons Collections 1.0.0 (versione interna
1.0.0.20151203_0024)

I tried first RDI/RBD to 9.5.1 together and then RDI 9.5.1 alone, identical
result.

Are you using the IBM Installation Manager to do the update?

Yes the help says:

IBM Installation Manager
Versione: 1.8.5
Versione interna: 1.8.5000.20160506_1125
Architettura: 32-bit

If you have maybe done some updates or installed software from
eclipse.org
directly that can make future updates with IM incompatible.

The only "external" plug-in is iSphere.

Mike
