Yes, that is how pinned view work. A view is activated, when it gets the
focus and that is when a pinned view restores its content.

I will think about how to activate all 5250 views automatically.

Yes, the pinning is working now. But I have to on that view to get it to
reconnect. Which is probably normal, I think that is the way my pinned
Turnover worklists work also, don't populate until I go to that view.

Since this connection is just running a never ending background job, I was
hoping it would do the connect at Rational start up time, but I don't know
if that is possible or not.

Hi Rick,

I fixed the broken pin option. Please download Beta5 and let me know if
it works for you, now.

Thomas.

Hi Thomas,

I loaded up the beta and am trying out the pin session feature, but it
doesn't do anything different than before. I assume this is so a session
automatically starts when Rational starts up, correct?

Thanks!
Rick

Hi Folks,

I want to let you know that I released a new iSphere beta version. The
following feature requests have been added to it:

• Added option to pin 5250 session views.
• Added option to group 5250 sessions by connections or to open
individual views for each session.
• Added option "Copy Members to" to source file items of the object
table view.
• Changed object decorator to optionally display the library and file
name of file members.

Regards,

Thomas.
