Opcodes are one colour, constants in another, etc. If one has a black
and white printer it may look better to turn that off.

I guess it depends on the printer. I like leaving it on because the color
renders by varying the gray scale. (When I really want to make sure what
I'm looking at on a printout, I print to a color printer.)
