I use the properties view while in the DDS Design perspective Click on the
field in the visual design panel and have the properties view display below.
The properties has the column and row and you can adjust the values
directly.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Moving fields in report design

Hey all,

Is there another way to move fields around in report design other than
clicking a field and dragging? I fear my dragging ability is pretty weak it
seems (I keep dragging 2 columns over instead of 1). I'd just like to be
able to use the arrow (or ctrl-arrow or something like that) to shift a
field around. Is there something like that? I tried shift-, ctrl-, alt-
arrow but none of those seemed to do it.

Thanks,
