Jeff, I feel your pain (and may have been a participant in the thread from awhile back).
I agree that it would be nice if that was a high priority of the RDi Enhancements team.

That said, I have had great success with using the "Right-click in the LPEX editor > New > D-spec method of developing my expertise.
Try it... You'll like it. Until you get good enough to get along without it.

RDi has long converted C specs to freeform. I highlighted some D specs,
right-clicked, and saw the "Convert selection to Free-Form." Alright! I
thought, just what I want.

However...it doesn't. Found a thread from a couple of years ago where the
only available ones were pay versions from Arcad and Linoma.

That still true? Does either do it within the RDi editor? I'd rather do
'chunks' of H, F, and D specs than an entire member. I'd like to look at
the before and after of my own code to learn it better. The vast majority
of my C specs are already freeform.

I don't write much new code these days, but do a lot of maintenance.
