From softlanding.com, select solutions -> websphere -> RSE Plugins

scroll to the bottom and click the 'click HERE to download the plug-in now'.
You likely will be asked to create a signon .

Once there, find the link for "download RDP/RDi 7.5+ plug-in (verified
through RDi 9.5)" to start the download.

the com.softlanding.rse.extensions.link file is the only file in the
'links' folder?

If both are true, then please rename the links folder to dropins (all
lowercase), restart with -clean


also, as Vern points out, did you run the RSE installer with the Run As
Administrator option?

Is the RSE installer you're using the most recent? (when you run it, the
first panel in the lower right should have the number 13172)
