Maybe an alternative you can use is to create an object filter specifically for source files in your library.

Right-click the "objects" item under your connection and select "new" and "object filter". Enter your library, select *FILE for object type, and then type PF-SRC for the object attribute (or PF38-SRC if you are still using that type of source file.) Leave the object as an asterisk.

This filter will only ever show source files in your specified library (you can right-click the filter and select "change..." to change the library, or add more libraries/source files to the filter.) You can leave it open when you close RDi and it will open again showing just your source files.

You can have as many library, object and/or member filters as you can manage.

Subject: Re: [WDSCI-L] Default Expand To

Chris: If I have the Remote Systems tab opened to my library, and that library is Expanded-To Source Files, when I click on the red X, and start RDI again, it opens my library to the All Expanded-To view.

James: On my PC, the checkbox you referenced was already checked.

I am running version 9.1, maybe this issue has been fixed in the upgrade.

Thank you,

Doug
