I'm in this position - that's why I've asked if someone else can submit PMRs here.

Now for Edmund - can we without a company authorization call in and submit the PMR? Not using the IBM ID, then, I assume?

I suspect that those using Passport Advantage CAN submit PMRs through those channels, not sure, however.

Because of the hybrid nature of RDi, as Edmund has explained some months ago, being a non-i product that has an IBM i license product ID (hope that gets close to the truth!!), I wish we who are working with a licensed-product version COULD report things - but I don't know that the PMR RETAIN system will allow that.

Vern

This release is not yet public. So at this point, those who open relevant
PMRs are getting it.
Once it is public you can simply check "Help->Check for Rational Developer
for i Updates" to get it.

Eric, is there any requirements on the IBM ID used to get the updates? I
didn't think so.
I think the underlying problem is that many developers who use RDi have
an IBM ID which is not authorised to submit a PMR. In that respect,
there are two classes of IBM ID: one is linked to a company and is
authorised to submit service requests, and one is for the general
public. ish.
