I had some gotchas come up when I installed RDi 9.5.
We use ALDON CMS, which comes with an RDI plugin.
"Lifecycle Manager for IBM i Team Repository" from Rocket Aldon.
When installing the Rocket Aldon Plugin in RDi 9.5, you will first need to install the "Eclipse 2.0 Style Plugin Support" plugin.
RDI 9.5 is based on Eclipse 4.4.2
Eclipse 4.4.2 no longer includes "Eclipse 2.0 Style Plugin Support" by default.
To install the plugin in RDI 9.5, under the Help Menu select "Install New Software".
Add the Update Site for Eclipse 4.4:
The Eclipse Project Updates -
http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/updates/4.4
Then install the "Eclipse 2.0 Style Plugin Support".
It is located under "Eclipse Tests, Examples, and Extras"
Once this plug in installed then you can install the version of the Rocket Aldon plugin that is applicable to your system.
Eclipse 2.0 Style Plugin support was required for version 8.0.702 as well as prior versions.
