Mike,

Long story SHORT: Turnover is changing my library-List in RDI 9.5. The library-list "Not sticking" is NOT the fault of RDI 9.5. <My Bad>

Side-Note: I have put RDI 9.5 through a lot recently, juggle multiple programs and multiple debug. And RDi 9.5 has been working SUBPERB/MARVELOUS!!! <Big Smile>

Mike,

I am not switching connections, only my perspectives. Example from Remote Connections/Debug/Turnover. I am only using one connection, the "Development Box". No other system is connected...

I am testing a new version of vendor library-software that is NOT yet implemented. Hence why it is NOT on my default library-List.

I do switch over to ACS 5250 to start the program in debug.

I am trying to find the exact steps, when the library-list changes and/or does not "stick"...

PS. I like your tip to refresh your list view. I stress that to the newbie all the time. Because they see the library-list out there. <smirk>

The ADDLIBLE is temporary the action is only applied to the RSE connection job. So, if you reconnect for whatever reason or start a different job from some other source (the green screen for example) then the LIBL will be
different. A more permanent solution would be to modify the connection
properties or the *JOBD that is used.

Note that if you have your RSE settings to restore the view that was closed then it restores from cache I believe and may show that the library is present when it is not. Refresh the view to be sure.

Buck,

Yes, I think I will document how I can duplicate it. And then report it as new PMR.

Thanks!

Using RDI 9.5 (test patch 2015-11-09), my library-List does not

1.) Open a perspective, and manually add a library I need on the
library-List. And compile everything works good...
2.) Decide I need to debug & verify. Switch to "DEBUG" perspective.
Find
a minor code to change. So I recompile, it fails! Yikes!

It works for me on 9.5.0.0, even to the point that the Commands Log View shows the exact same messages. For example if I try to ADDLIBLE twice, both the RSE and Debug Perspective's Commands Log View show 'The library BUCK already exists in the library search list.'

Are you using the same connexion in the Debug Perspective that you were using in the RSE Perspective?
