They can configure Java properties, but it would need to be on the
command-line launch of ACS (or through environment variables provided by
their Java vendor, like _JAVA_OPTIONS). For instance, "acslaunch_win-32.exe
-Xmx500m"

I've not looked yet in the docs (RTFM, right?) but is there anything
about Java memory allocation settings at start up? They are sometimes
recommended for RDi.
