As Edmund says, run an Export... and keep a copy of that to use for an
eventuality like this. I just did that myself :-) File > Export... >
Rational Developer for i > Configuration Files. Don't put the .cfg file
in your workspace.

It turns out that the exported file is a .zip file full of various
.prefs files. Interestingly, I see .prefs files for iSphere, PyDev,
RPGUnit, Regexutils and other 3rd party plug-ins I've installed, so
that's good to know.
