You are right. The Task Tags plug-in does not need the ISPHERE library.

This is a feature of the iSphere plugin. It allows the standard Task Tags to be used within LPEX source members.

I heartily recommend the iSphere plugin - it has editors for message files and binding directories, allows source and message file searching, a spooled files subsystem, and the task tags you want. You can check it out here: http://isphere.sourceforge.net/

For the majority of features in iSphere you'll have to upload a library to your IBM i (and it is well worth it), but I'll bet that the task tags feature will not require that. The creators, Frank Hildebrandt and Thomas Raddatz, both read this midrange mailing list and will correct me if I've said something wrong.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Tasks

It sure would be nice to be able to put TODO into a comment and have it show up on the Tasks view. This is a common eclipse behavior. Right now I have to search for all the TODO's in my code. I would like it to be able to at a minimum find and cache the TODO's in my open source members until I resolve it. It would be nice if this is just a configuration to turn it on. Anyone know how to turn on TODO's in the Tasks view for LPEX?
