Hi Ken

Make a different connection - each connection goes only to 1 system, so far as I can tell.

And each connection has filters for libraries (schema) and files (tables), including generic names.

Hi,

Is there a way to do a filter by the system-name like you can do in iNavigator.

Of course we have tons of files, and I need to filter to the file by the system name. And apparently Database view has no way, that I can find how this is done... <frown>

Just wondering if I am missing something. Or iNavigator is my only solution. It would be "nice" to stay in a single package.

It seems to work the same in Data Studio 4.1, unable to find or filter by the system name.

Oh well, at least it works in iNavigator.

PS. We have modernized many files, but not all. RPGLE programs can use the old-system name. And new Embedded SQL can use the friendly longer/alias name.
