Greg,

Thanks for sharing! I appreciate it!

I wish I could subscript to APAR, but something is always messed up with my IBM profile for some unknown reason... <frown>

Just tried again, and I get this "Wonderful Informative" message for diagnostics:

An unexpected error has occurred. No specific information is available.

Oh well, I am worn out trying to resolve my IBM profile issue...
<disappointment>

PS. I like updates to RDI, but the "Bread & butter" functionality of the LPEX editor has to COME FIRST before any "fluff"... <smirk>

I opened a PMR on this back in October... an APAR was created if you care to be notified of the fix. This is the copy of the message I received from IBM in November

Hi Greg,

I feel that the basic issue is that the toolbar loses sync with the current edit session's state. At the moment it is not clear to me if it is a base Eclipse issue or something to do with the Remote LPEX editor. In any case there is APAR SE58364 to address this! You can view and subscribe to the APAR on the internet here

https://www-304.ibm.com/support/entdocview.wss?uid=swg1SE58364

When you subscribe to the APAR you will be automatically notified when it is fixed indicating that the solution will be available.

Unfortunately tt this late date it is unlikely to make it into the RDI 9.1.1 update.

Let me know if you have any futher questions about this before the PMR is closed.

All the best, Mike

Note, I click the save-Icon in browse-mode, and it did not re-update the source member on the production box. Which is a good thing!

I was browsing PRODUCTION source in "BROWSE" Mode, and the Save-ICON was enabled... <shock>
