I even tried to use the "Show in table" to see if it worked differently
there but alas, no.

Thanks, Matt

Thanks Matt - I had tried something like that but unfortunately I'm
dealing with an unknown number of folders. All I know is that they begin
with XML. WRKLNK does it perfectly, so for now I have to go back to the
green screen.

You might need to create extra filter criteria for folders, folders
you have to explicitly filter.

Like most all filters there is an option to include more items.

Not the ideal mix in the filtered items but at least you get them all
in one filter reference.

Please make an RFE because this has given me problems recently too,
I'll vote for it.

Example of a filter I have

/www/zendsvr6f*.htmI /ns
/www/zendsvr6/htdocs/dev*
/www/zendsvr6/htdocs/itg/*
/www/zendsvr6/htdocs/qua/*
/www/zendsvr6/htdocs/pdn/*

Thanks, Matt

That matches what I am seeing Jim - the files are filtered, but that
isn't what I want.

Maybe an RFE is going to have to be raised.

Jon,

I tried this in 9.1 and while the files are filtered, the directory
names are not. I don't know that I ever tried this on a previous
version.

I see that you can eliminate the directories and only show the files,

but that does not get you what you want.

I was certain that I used to be able to set up an IFS filter to do
the equivalent of:

WRKLNK '/Partner400/XML*'

So that I was only seeing the subset of folders that matched XML at
the start of the name.

I have tried on 9.0.1 and 9.1 and cannot find any way to get it to
work.
It seems such an obvious requirement and, as I say, I could have
sworn that I'd done it before.

Anyone know if this is possible?
