Richard,

I have notice it occasionally...

I must use the Alt+L to select a line, and then Alt+C to copy the line to the new location. And I don't get that problem...

But, I *ASSUME* it is from the LPEX Editor now showing special characters. Where the old SEU put in special Hex Characters to "Colorize" their code... <LOL>

So, it has to manually intercept those special characters, because Microsoft change their fonts, starting with Windows 7 & Above. So due to Microsoft changes, those special character NO LONGER SHOW...

Thanks to IBM RDi 9.1, we can see those special character again!

When I edit my code, I always REMOVE those stupid #@$!#$!@# Special Hex Characters Below Hex-40...
<Big Smile> I use an RPGLE program to do that!

Subject: [WDSCI-L] RDI Editor Stutter When Pasting Code or Navigating in the Editor RDI 9.1 with RPG Source

Hi All,

I just started using RDI 9.1 and there seems to be an issue where when you copy/paste a source chuck or navigate by keyboard the app stutters and the cursor moves slowly. Like 1-2 seconds between lines.

Has anyone seen this with the RDI 9.1 editor ?

Any input appreciated.
