Trying checking the Error log, to see if you see any outstanding messages...
window>Show View>Error Log

Something is askew.

Are you connected by VPN? Is the connection dropping?

Sorry, I am probably not much help, but want to mention to check the error Log, for possible diagnostic message that might be helpful...

Subject: [WDSCI-L] RDi 9.1 does not save source members

Hi,

After I ugraded my RDi from 9.0.1 to 9.1.0 source members are not saved any longer!

These are the steps I do:

a) Load source member from the RSE tree or a TurnOver worklist.

b) Apply some changes to the source member.

c) Press CTRL+S to save the member.

On the first save attempt a popup dialog (title = "Remote System
Connection") comes up asking me for the connection to be used by actions which use remote information. The message text is: "Specify the IBM i connection to be used by actions which use remote information".

That is new and I wonder why RDi asks for the connection, because it should know the connection the members belongs to.

So I:

d) Select the right connection.

e) Click the [OK] button.

As a result of the save action, the member is saved to the cache but not to the System i!

In order to get the member saved to the i, I select "Save as" from the "File" menu and save the member with a different name, which works just fine. But when I try to save the member again (CTRL+S or File -> Save) the dialog box mentioned above pops up and the problem is back again.

Ideas and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Thomas.
