Jim,

try downloading iSphere again. Unzip the downloaded file. Go into the
unzipped folder. There is a file site.xml. Open this file with for example
notepad. You should see entries for the plugins with version="2.1.0". Can
you confirm this?

Frank

Frank,

Thanks for the update. How do I install/update to the new version?

I have tried downloading from
http://www.taskforce-it.de/en/download.htmland unzipping into my
install folder, but then RDi does not show any
updates for that install. It shows at a version of 1.4.2.

Thanks again for all you are doing to enhance the RDi environment.

@ Jim

This bug has fixed in the new iSphere version. It has occurred when trying
to delete spooled files created between 00:00:00 and 09:59:59.

Frank,

Thank you for providing this plugin.

Where can we report usage issues? For example while I was testing the
spooled files piece, I try to delete some of the listed spool file I get a
window with a "CPF0006 - Errors occurred in command" message.

The delete function works on other spooled files - even in the same list.
Where can I find the error that occurred?

Hello everybody out there,

we are proud to announce the next great feature of iSphere. It`s a first
class spooled file subsystem for the Remote Systems Explorer. Here`s a
list
of the things you can do with the iSphere Spooled File subsystem.

. Maintaining spooled files filter with filter criteria's user, output
queue, user data and form type to show the spooled files in the RSE Tree
View
. Hold a spooled file
. Release a spooled file
. Change spooled file attributes
. Delete a spooled file
. Reply a message for a spooled file
. Display spooled files attributes in the eclipse properties view
. Open a spooled file in Text, HTML and PDF Format
. Save a spooled file in Text, HTML and PDF Format
. Integrate your own conversion tools for conversion of spooled files to
Text, HTML and PDF. (There are lot of vendors providing tools for
spooled
file conversion out there)
. For opened spool files in every format the CRTL+F key is active for
searching the spooled file
. For opened spool files in every format the CRTL+P key is active for
printing the spooled file

iSphere is a great open source project for the Rational Developer for i.
Within one year we have released six important features to extend RDi.
There
are still a lot of ideas for great new features who are waiting to be
realized. iSphere will be an absolutely MUST HAVE plugin for all RDi
developers. This is our commitment to iSphere.

You can download the new version of iSphere here.
