I know that RTC is "free" for very small teams (10 developers or less), but at that licensing level you miss out on many of the good features for IBM i, there is only "community" support and there is a tonne of work getting your existing software development lifecycle into a format that RTC likes. (This is just my opinion based on my experience. Others may have had more success.)

I got quite far into the process of installing RTC, but I was stopped at the eleventh hour due to the unwillingness to allow time for the necessary training I would have to give to my small team of colleagues just to introduce them to eclipse tooling and source repositories not accessible by SEU. Similar arguments have been used against Turnover and ARCAD when I mentioned them.

I need smaller steps to get my team moving into modern software development practices. And after a while I may have more luck moving them to something big like RTC.

Can't speak for everyone on the list but I am a solo developer and based on the conversations on this list, most of the "teams" on the list are just two or three. I am not sure how well RTC fits in that environment. Even in a one person shop like mine, I really want some change control in my RPG world, but I haven't found anything yet that is drop dead simple and runs on i. But, it has been a while since I looked. My last encounter with RTC was not all that encouraging....
