What happens when I left-click a view in the Ctrl-F7 window
(one which is not "misplaced"), is that view is "selected", so
I guess my misplaced outline is also "selected" and "misplaced" ?
Not sure what you mean by "cursor around", but pressing the
Tab key after left-clicking Outline on the Ctrl-F7 window just
moves my cursor within the Lpex edit window . . .

Hey, Ctrl-F7 does show Outline, thank you Buck for that hint.
But it's kind of a tease in that I don't seem to have a way to restore
the view from the displayed list ?

I'm not much of a mouser. I use Ctrl-F7 to get the list, then cursor around to the view I misplaced, then press Enter. Apparently the way I misplace things is different to the way you and Curt did. Sorry I wasn't more help.

I first suspected I was missing something when I could not restore
Outline from Window-Show View-Other- General . . . hopefully I
stumble across Outline view soon . . .

Following up on Kurt's hunch that the Outline View is active somewhere, try Ctrl-F7 to bring up a window of all 'active' views. I use the quotes because even if you've minimised the view, it's still active.

The Eclipse behaviour for minimised and 'torn away' views is not intuitive for me, so I use Ctrl-F7 a lot.

Hi Gary,

When you go to Window - Show View - Other - General, is Outline grayed out (when you don't have it highlighted)? If so, it's active somewhere. Possibly minimized to a fast view toolbar. I had a similar issue with my Remote Shell not too long ago.

RDi 9.0.1 - I somehow managed to lose or hide my outline view ?

Clicking: Window - Show View - Other - General - Outline has no apparent effect.

This happened, I think, during one of several Minimize/Maximize operations I was doing to manage screen size . . . Now Lpex Edit Window show an orange box at the top right, and an orange dash beneath a /COPY which informs me to Refresh the Outline view (typical for this source mbr) but no can do because Outline View is AWOL !?
