[WDSCI-L] Code400 a no go on Windows 7
Heh. I tried to install Code400 on my Windows 7 64-bit desktop.
The error I got says, essentially, that java does not recognize the version
of Windows NT I'm running. :)

Guess I'll have to learn to use a different compare. I always liked the
Code400 compare and that's all I used it for. :)

Just to reassure, I am running Code400 under Win 7 64-bit. No problems. (I still prefer Code Designer to the RDi Screen/Report Designer tools. I find the latter too "cluttered" despite my best efforts to reorganise the perspectives. Bring back the toolbar buttons!)

One point to note. Code400 no longer "integrates" with RDP/RDi as from v8.5. In other words, when working with a source member, the OPEN WITH and BROWSE WITH choices in the context menu only show LPEX and DESIGNER options. (Despite setting up other Editor choices within the RDi File Association preference.) As previously pointed out, Code400 has been deprecated so I guess we really should let go and persevere with supported tools.)
